After a short time being known as All Sorts, The Cross Keys is now back under its original name - and soon to be better than ever.

And while the outside has remained largely unchanged for over 100 years, the new and improved Cross Keys now offers everything a modern pub should when it reopened in May 2014 after a major refurbishment.

Customers can enjoy freshly-cooked pub food either in the main bar or tucked away in the quiet snug. Plus, of course, top class Arkell's ales and a superb range of coffees, teas - or something stronger!.

    - Food freshly cooked to order
    - Specialist coffees and teas
    - Real fire
    - Wines, shots and cocktails

The Cross Keys, as ever, is geared towards providing a service for a number of successful businesses on their doorstep, with their choice of nibbles and larger main meals, not to mention their properly-made lattes, mochas, cappucinos and hot chocolate.

    Current vacancies

"Being a Licensee is a fine and rewarding job", says Chris, and it helps that the Arkell’s directors are approachable. "We had a lot of help and they provide us with regular information, but ultimately it's up to us."

Chris Manners is the Licensee of three Arkell’s pubs. The Rusty Bicycle, The Rickety Press and The Bottle of Sauce
