The Admiral Sir John Talbot is the new name for The Talbot Inn in Cirencester.
After undergoing a complete refurbishment, the pub has now re-opened for DRINKS & A LIMITED MENU while the finishing touches to the kitchen and accommodation rooms are made.

The name is a tribute to the Talbot family, that lived and owned land in part of the town. Sir Charles Talbot even lived in Watermoor House for a time, and there is a scene from a stained-glass window at All Saints, Down Ampney, commemorating the deliverance of Admiral Sir Charles Talbot and his crew from a shipwreck off Sebastopol during the Crimean War in 1854.
Ever since Arkell's bought the pub back in 1877, The Talbot (as was) has prided itself on its genuinely warm welcome, popular with local people for whom the pub is at the centre of the community.
